Privacy & Opt-out

This policy explains what information US Attorney List holds, why, and how anyone — including an attorney listed in our database — can have their information removed.

Are you an attorney who wants to be removed? Email hello@usattorneylist.com from, or quoting, the email address you want removed. We will suppress it within 10 business days and prevent it from being re-added. See "Your opt-out rights" below.

1. Information we hold

For attorneys, we hold business contact information collected from publicly accessible sources: state bar registries and law firms' own websites. That is: name, firm, business email address as published on the firm's own page, business phone number, office city and state, licence status, and a link to the public profile the record was read from. We do not knowingly collect government identifiers, financial information, or sensitive personal information.

For customers, we collect the email address and payment confirmation provided through our payment processor (Stripe) in order to deliver your purchase and provide receipts and support. We never see or store card numbers.

2. Why we hold it

We compile this business contact information to provide business-to-business sales-lead lists. Every record relates to an individual in their professional, business capacity, and every email address was published either by the state bar on the attorney's own public licence record or by the firm on its own website — nothing is appended from data brokers or guessed from name patterns. Licence status is read from the state bar's public register.

3. How the information is shared

We provide purchased lists to paying customers under terms that prohibit resale, republication, and unlawful use. We do not sell or share customer (buyer) personal information for marketing. We use service providers — Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), and an email delivery provider — strictly to operate the Service.

4. Your opt-out rights

Any individual may, at any time, ask us to access, correct, or remove their information. To opt out and be removed from the database:

Email hello@usattorneylist.com with the name and/or email address to remove.
We will remove the record within 10 business days and add it to a suppression list so it is not collected again.
Note: we cannot recall lists already delivered to customers before your request, but removal stops further distribution.

5. Retention & security

We keep business contact data only as long as it remains useful for the Service. Each state's register is re-read when we rebuild that state, and the date of the scan behind any page is printed on it; we do not promise a fixed schedule. Records that leave their public sources leave the database at the next rebuild. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (which is business contact information).

6. Cookies & analytics

The site is intentionally lightweight. We do not use advertising trackers. Our payment processor may set cookies necessary to complete checkout.
